![]() I would not expect they finish the AI here either - these companies all seem to make their money off of people willing to buy unfinished games. WIF has been out for years and still no AI. Like WIF, they promise the AI is coming soon. Like Matrix's PC adaptation of world in flames, Avalon buries this in the fine print of the game description. The AI they built can only handle chopped up scenarios spoon-fed to it. So you can't really play the game as it's meant to be played solo. The game's core mode is the grand campaign scenario. Avalon Hill's block games are extremely buggy (hammer of the scots didn't even run when i tried then refunded it) and the SGS games are apparently in a constant state of bug patching/introduction and overall jankiness despite their inspired design. ![]() Avalon Hill Digital seems to be following in Matrix's tradition of releasing unfinished jank then selling more stuff instead of finishing what they've already launched. Unfortunately that is not the case - it might be quality one day, but this title is still early access. I bought this game having done little diligence because I am such a big fan of Cyril Jarnot's and his carrier battles series is the best pacific wargame currently out there, so i figured that this must be quality too or he wouldn't put his name on it.
